This Taylors coffee project I completed in my second year of university, which I submitted to the YCN Student Awards and gained a commendation for my work. The brief was to design a product innovation to persuade young people from the ages of 16–25 to drink Taylors coffee; therefore my idea was a Taylor’s take-away coffee cup to attract a young audience.
When in a rush, whether in education or at work, a quick and simple way to re-fuel is to grab a take-away coffee. The product innovation is a set of 3 new flavours that link to the hand drawn quotes/coffee puns. I then came up with the product range name as: ‘Taylored to your Taste’ to show that Taylor’s coffee thinks about everybody’s tastes.
